MindSort is built with privacy as a core principle. Unlike most apps, we process everything on your device. Your thoughts, voice recordings, and personal data never leave your phone and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

• We do not track your usage or behavior within the app
• We do not use analytics or tracking services
• We do not collect crash reports or diagnostics automatically

Data Storage

All data created within MindSort is stored locally on your device:

• Thoughts and Notes: Stored in a local database on your device
• Categories and Tags: Stored locally alongside your thoughts
• Reminders: Managed through your device's local notification system
• Settings and Preferences: Stored in local device storage

This data is not synced to any cloud service and remains entirely under your control.

Audio and Microphone Usage

MindSort uses your device's microphone to enable voice-to-text functionality:

• Audio is processed in real-time on your device using on-device AI
• Audio recordings are immediately converted to text and then discarded
• Raw audio is never stored permanently or transmitted anywhere
• Transcription happens entirely on-device without internet connection

AI Processing

MindSort uses artificial intelligence to transcribe and categorize your thoughts:

• Speech-to-Text: Runs entirely on your device
• Thought Classification: Runs entirely on your device
• No AI processing requires internet connectivity
• Your data is never sent to any external AI service provider

Third-Party Services

MindSort does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data:

• No advertising networks
• No analytics platforms
• No social media integrations
• No cloud storage providers

The app is distributed through Google Play Store (and future App Store), which may collect their own data according to their respective privacy policies.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: View all your data directly in the app
• Deletion: Delete individual thoughts or all data through the app settings
• Export: Export your data for personal backup (feature may vary by version)
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device

Children's Privacy

MindSort is not directed at children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe your child has provided data through the app, please contact us.
